ABGI UK and Visiativ UK & Ireland: Consulting Rebrand Clarification

This page explains the rebrand of Visiativ Consulting UK Ltd back to ABGI UK, and clarifies the relationship between ABGI UK and Visiativ UK & Ireland.

Important clarification

ABGI UK and Visiativ UK & Ireland are separate businesses.

ABGI UK, formerly Visiativ Consulting UK Ltd, provides R&D tax relief, innovation funding and consulting services.

Visiativ UK & Ireland, registered as Visiativ Solutions UK Ltd, is not part of this rebrand and continues to provide SOLIDWORKS design, engineering software, training and support through this website.

Both businesses sit within the wider Groupe SNEF organisation, but they are separate operating businesses, use separate brands and serve different markets.

Visiativ Consulting UK Ltd has rebranded back to ABGI UK

The consulting team has been in business for 16 years in the UK. It began as one of the UK’s first R&D tax relief specialists. Following its acquisition by Visiativ in 2019, the business became known as ABGI, the name used for Visiativ’s consulting arm at the time.

In April 2023, the consulting business rebranded as Visiativ Consulting UK Ltd, aligning with the wider Visiativ Group brand.

Following changes at group level, the wider Visiativ group is now part of Groupe SNEF, a 119-year-old French business with €1.7bn turnover, 13,000 employees in 30 countries, and operations across manufacturing, engineering, telecoms, nuclear power, agri-tech, hi-tech and other sectors.

As part of its plans to maintain and build a strong consulting focus, Groupe SNEF has decided to adopt the ABGI brand for its consulting division. As a result, after 18 months as Visiativ Consulting UK Ltd, the consulting business rebranded back to ABGI UK on 31 March 2025.

The name has changed, but the people, expertise and focus on accuracy and compliance remain the same, backed by the financial strength, stability and global footprint of Groupe SNEF.
